Dr. Bova obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and went on to get a master’s degree in Business Administration at USC. Although she had a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Bova soon began to feel that her efforts were more rewarding for her company than for the people she met along the way. That is why, rather than continuing up the corporate ladder, she made the difficult decision to trade in her briefcase for a set of dental instruments.

While attending Dental School at Oregon Health & Science University, Dr. Bova was selected by the faculty for Advanced Honors in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. Since graduation, she has continued to participate actively in programs for advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dawn and her husband have been Mercer Island residents since 2003 and together with their two daughters enjoy being active members of the community. Dawn started her MI practice in 2006 with the philosophy that everyone should be treated as a person first and as a patient second. This philosophy is reflected in every aspect of her practice. Dr. Bova would like to offer you what she believes to be the finest – and most personable – dental care available anywhere.
